In 2024, Motivez partnered with Kenvue, a global leader in Consumer Health and MedTech, to deliver their first-ever Equity in STEM Day in the UK as part of Kenvue Cares Week - a company-wide initiative focused on social impact and community engagement.
Held in the borough of Hillingdon, the day brought together 100+ students and 26 Kenvue employees to explore real-world medical, clinical, and safety challenges. It gave students a powerful look into the world of STEM and careers in the health sector and the response spoke volumes:
Building on the success of 2024, Kenvue Cares Week returned in 2025… this time more in-depth and with a growing team of returning volunteers. The goal: go deeper, reach more young people, and build stronger career awareness across a broader range of roles within Kenvue and the STEM ecosystem.
This time, we brought the experience to Uxbridge High School, where students took part in an immersive, one-day careers challenge. With the support of the brilliant Kenvue Cares team, students got hands-on exposure to careers in finance, clinical operations, and medical affairs - showing them that the world of STEM isn’t just about science labs, but also strategy, problem-solving, and innovation behind the scenes.
“With support from over 22,000 global Kenvue team members and a portfolio of trusted health brands, this initiative sits at the intersection of care, education, and long-term community impact.
In 2025, Kenvue and Motivez launched Sustainable Hillingdon, a borough-wide extension of the Wider Sustainable London Engineering Programme. This hackathon-style challenge brought together Year 10 students to design innovative sustainability solutions, blending STEM skills with real-world problem-solving. Across May, June, and July, Kenvue staff acted as mentors, judges, and role models for students from six Hillingdon schools, helping ignite early interest in STEM, particularly among underrepresented groups.
Kenvue volunteers supported 600 students from schools including Uxbridge High, Swakeleys School for Girls, and Oak Wood School, guiding them through qualifying hackathons focused on reducing the environmental footprint of personal care and OTC products. One standout team, Listergreen from Swakeleys, impressed judges with algae-based mouthwash dyes and accessible packaging designs, winning the regional final and earning a ‘Stronger Together’ commendation at the London final. Kenvue’s commitment was further recognised with the ‘Newcomer Partner of the Year’ Award, highlighting their role in providing equitable early access to STEM careers.
How we bring the vision to life:
"Over 120 young people engaged, 300+ volunteer hours, and 10 sustainability projects completed."
"Our partnership kicks off with a powerful community activation, engaging local youth in purpose-driven volunteering and learning."
“It was an honour to judge the Sustainable London finals, which was a true celebration of the next generation of climate conscious STEM leaders!
At Kenvue, we are guided in all our work by our Healthy Lives Mission, striving to empower people with the tools to make healthier choices for themselves, their loved ones, and the planet. The Sustainable London challenge inspired all to keep thinking creatively about sustainable solutions for our everyday lives.”
