Sustainable London

Sustainable London is a multi-borough programme and competition where students from marginalised backgrounds and their mentors develop innovative STEM-based solutions to local sustainability and climate issues.

Participants receive training for problem-solving from guest speakers and pitch their solutions to a influential judges who evaluate their understanding of the problem, research, innovation, creativity, confidence, and presentation style.

2,500+ students
across Year 9 - Year 11 are reached across 6+ boroughs and cohorts are onboarded onto the programme throughout the year.
STEM skills
are cultivated by the students whilst they develop innovative STEM-based solutions to sustainability challenges.
Hackathons
that allow students to build their critical thinking, teamwork and presentation skills through the programme.
12 - 20 hours
experience for students which supplements their school curriculum and is led by relatable Motivez Mentors.
70+ mentors
and industry professionals support our young people through a structured mentoring scheme aiding their social capital and career development.
Changemakers
who are prepared to pursue STEM subjects and become green leaders in their community. Students  join the Motivez community for after-care support and future opportunities.
